Speaking to PEOPLE at a fundraising event for Reach Out Worldwide, Paul Walker’s younger brother, Cody Walker, remembered how generous his brother was with his time and money.
“Aside from acting, his daughter [Meadow] and ROWW were the most important things in his life, hands down,” Cody said of the organization, which Paul founded.
As Cody said to PEOPLE, Paul kept his generosity under the radar and didn’t “want any recognition for it.”
“After Paul passed, there were a lot of unknowns … because Paul was such a huge factor behind it. He was the sole contributor. He just paid for everything,” Cody said.
Cody and his brother, Caleb Walker, joined the cast of Furious 7 to help complete Paul’s scenes after his death in November of 2013. Cody admitted during the premiere that he was nervous to see the finished product, but that Paul would have been happy with the result.
“It’s bittersweet, but I think Paul would be proud,” he said to PEOPLE.
